Guided by a live narrator and accompanied by music from a 20-piece orchestra\, this extraordinary theatrical production blends art\, storytelling\, and illusion into an evening that is truly unforgettable. \nDesigned to complement this iconic event\, our thoughtfully paced journey to the Southern California coast weaves together scenic seaside towns\, coastal beauty\, and the world-class collections of the Getty Center—creating a rich\, art-filled getaway and a true bucket-list experience from beginning to end. \n\nDay One: Journey to the California Coast \nOur Southern California getaway begins as we depart the Valley and head west toward the coast. Along the way\, we’ll stop in Palm Springs for lunch on self\, offering a comfortable break and time to choose from a variety of casual dining options. \nBy late afternoon\, we’ll arrive in San Clemente\, a laid-back beach town known for its ocean breezes and relaxed coastal charm. After checking in\, the evening is yours to enjoy with dinner on self—a chance to settle in\, explore nearby options\, or simply unwind after our travel day. \n\nDay Two: Coastal Views\, Dana Point Harbor & Pageant of the Masters \nAfter breakfast included at the hotel\, we’ll set out mid-morning for a beautiful coastal drive\, showcasing the varied scenery of Southern California as we travel north along the shoreline. \nLate morning brings us to Dana Point Harbor\, where sailboats\, marina views\, and ocean air create the perfect setting for a relaxed midday pause. Enjoy lunch on self\, with several waterfront restaurants conveniently located close together\, allowing time to enjoy the harbor atmosphere at your own pace. \nEarly afternoon\, we’ll return to the hotel with plenty of time to rest and refresh—a welcome break before an exciting evening ahead. Late afternoon\, we’ll gather for an early dinner included at Terra Laguna Beach\, located just steps from tonight’s main event. Dining nearby allows for a smooth\, unhurried transition into the evening. \nBefore the performance\, enjoy time at the Festival of Arts grounds\, where original works by local artists are displayed in an open-air setting\, offering wonderful context and inspiration. This evening\, we’ll attend the legendary Pageant of the Masters\, enjoying reserved Loge Center seating with excellent sightlines and a centered view of the stage. \nPlease note this is a late-evening performance\, and we’ll return to San Clemente later that night. Be sure to dress in layers\, as coastal evenings can cool after sunset. \n\nDay Three: Getty Center \nThis morning\, we’ll depart San Clemente and travel north toward Los Angeles for a visit to the iconic Getty Center\, one of the most celebrated art institutions in the world. Perched high above the city\, the Getty is renowned for its striking modern architecture\, thoughtfully designed spaces\, and sweeping panoramic views across Los Angeles to the Pacific beyond. \nBefore arrival\, we’ll provide a brief overview of the Getty Center and its layout so guests can choose which galleries or areas they’d most like to explore. Boxed lunches are included and will be enjoyed upon arrival\, allowing everyone to relax and refuel before setting off at their own pace. \nWith collections spanning European paintings\, decorative arts\, sculpture\, photography\, and rotating exhibitions—along with gardens and seating areas throughout—the Getty Center offers a rich and personal art experience. This visit provides a meaningful complement to the Pageant of the Masters\, deepening our appreciation for the artists\, styles\, and traditions that bring history’s great works to life. \nLater in the afternoon\, we’ll continue on to our Los Angeles hotel to check in and unwind. (D) Overnight: Salt Lake City \nDay Two: Halifax – Salt Lake City – West Yellowstone  This morning enjoy a panoramic tour of Salt Lake City featuring the downtown district\, State Capitol\, Temple Square\, and This Is the Place Monument where Brigham Young envisioned the settlement of the Mormon pioneers. Later we travel north through Idaho before arriving in the small town of West Yellowstone\, Montana\, located at the popular west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Founded in 1872\, Yellowstone was the world’s first national park and remains one of America’s most iconic natural treasures. Dinner is included this evening. (B\,D) Overnight: West Yellowstone \nDay Three: Yellowstone Wildlife Safari & National Park  Today embark on an incredible Wildlife Safari and Yellowstone National Park tour led by a knowledgeable local guide. This safari-style experience offers the best opportunity to view some of Yellowstone’s famous wildlife including elk\, bison\, moose\, wolves\, bears\, and bald eagles. Yellowstone is also home to more than 10\,000 geothermal features\, including hot springs\, waterfalls\, geysers\, and vast forests. During the day we’ll explore many of the park’s highlights including Yellowstone Lake and\, of course\, the park’s most famous attraction — Old Faithful Geyser\, which sends a plume of steam skyward approximately every 90 minutes. Enjoy time around the historic Old Faithful Inn before returning to West Yellowstone. (B) Overnight: West Yellowstone \nDay Four: West Yellowstone – Snake River Float – Jackson This morning visit the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center\, where rescued grizzly bears and gray wolves serve as ambassadors for their wild counterparts and offer a rare opportunity to observe these incredible animals up close. Later we travel toward Jackson\, Wyoming. Just outside town\, enjoy a scenic float trip along the Snake River with an experienced guide who will share stories of the region’s history\, geology\, and wildlife. Keep watch for beaver\, cutthroat trout\, cliff swallows\, pelicans\, osprey\, and bald eagles along the way. This evening arrive in the lively western town of Jackson\, known for its Old West charm and spectacular mountain scenery. Be sure to visit the famous Million Dollar Cowboy Bar with its saddle-shaped bar stools. (B) Overnight: Jackson  \nDay Five: Grand Teton National Park Today travel through the breathtaking landscapes of Grand Teton National Park\, where the jagged peaks of the Teton Range rise dramatically above the valley floor. Along the way visit the National Museum of Wildlife Art\, perched on a hillside overlooking the National Elk Refuge. The museum features 14 galleries of remarkable wildlife paintings\, sculptures\, and artwork spanning centuries. Continue through Grand Teton National Park\, one of the youngest mountain ranges in North America\, with peaks rising more than 14\,000 feet and supporting numerous alpine glaciers. Return to Jackson for an evening at leisure to explore this charming western town. (B) Overnight: Jackson  \nDay Six: Jackson – Park City\, Utah Today we travel south to Park City\, Utah\, host of several events during the 2002 Winter Olympic Games and one of North America’s most beautiful mountain resort towns. Visit the Utah Olympic Park and enjoy exhibits highlighting the Olympic Games. Later stroll along historic Main Street with its beautifully preserved buildings\, shops\, galleries\, and boutiques.
