Day One: Travel with us to Laughlin, Nevada, and the Golden Nugget Resort, for a one-night stay. Home to several award winning restaurants, Golden Nugget offers a casual atmosphere, state-of-the-art gambling, a beautiful pool area, scenic views of the Colorado River and so much more. After checking into our hotel, the evening is yours to enjoy, with much to see and do in Laughlin. Option #2—take time for a refresh and join your tour guide for dinner on self and an evening of exploring the casinos on the strip, with an option of line dancing at the Riverview Casino Resort!
Day Two: Breakfast is on self at the hotel, then it’s bags out and we’re headed for Oatman, Arizona. This 1906 tent camp became a thriving gold mining center until 1942, offering visitors a glimpse into real life in the Wild West. Located on historic Route 66, Oatman is home to shops and restaurants, but it is most famous for its friendly burros—descendants of the original mining burros—who roam the streets hoping for treats. We’ll get our kicks on Route 66, traveling the winding roads through the Black Mountains—the same roads used by early 20th century travelers. We’ll make our way to Kingman for lunch on self at Mr. D’z Route 66 Diner, famous for fabulous burgers, milkshakes and homemade root beer. After lunch we’ll hightail it for home. Don’t miss this fun and affordable tour! Depart: Mesa 8 a.m. Phx 8:30 a.m. NW 9 a.m. R: 6 p.m.
