Prescott is one of Arizona’s most beautiful and historic destinations—the perfect setting for a Mother’s Day celebration. We’ll begin our day with a Champagne Brunch, on self, at Murphy’s Restaurant. Housed in an 1890 mercantile, Murphy’s dishes up upscale steak and seafood all week, and traditional brunch favorites on Sunday. Brunch is ordered off the menu, which includes eggs benedict, ribeye steak and eggs, french toast royale and so much more. The champagne is included, along with Murphy’s famous brunch potatoes. After brunch we’ll explore the world-famous streets of downtown Prescott, better known as Whiskey Row. Once home to 40 saloons, this one-block stretch embodies Prescott’s wild west history—a gold rush culture that drew prospectors, cowboys, bawdy girls, outlaws and gamblers—including Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday. Today this legendary block is home to art galleries, boutiques and some still very famous saloons. Beyond Whiskey Row, the historic streets of Prescott are lined with antique shops, book stores, a meadery with an inviting tasting room and more. Run away with us this Mother’s Day, to an elevation of 5,200 feet above sea level, and the world’s largest stand of ponderosa pines. Prescott is always a great escape!
