We’re on our way to historic Cottonwood, Arizona—a town with a reputation for lawlessness. Many of Cottonwood’s early settlers were run out of the nearby company towns, or hopeful entrepreneurs looking to establish businesses and homes of their own. Cottonwood was a bootlegging capital, known to have the best booze in the west, attracting buyers all the way from Los Angeles. Today the Verde Valley Wine Trail rolls through this wild west town, along with lovely galleries, shops and great little restaurants. Walkin’ on Main is a celebration of historic 89A, conveniently located in the Old Town area, an easy stroll with plenty of outdoor seating. Verde Valley wine makers and vineyards will host a wine garden on Main Street, and wine tasting is optional and on self. We’ll also enjoy a juried art show, live music end to end and lots of interesting food booths. This festival is a blast! Call in your reservations and come with us.
