Beethoven’s 7th Symphony & Chopin’s 2nd Piano Concerto at Symphony Hall

November 6, 2026

$99

Join us for a beautiful morning of music at Symphony Hall! We’ll begin with complimentary coffee and a preconcert talk before the 11 a.m. performance. This relaxed, approximately 90-minute concert offers a closer look at the music, with engaging stories and insights from the conductor and musicians.

Guest conductor Rei Hotoda leads a program featuring Beethoven’s exhilarating Symphony No. 7, whose moving second movement was memorably featured in The King’s Speech. Pianist Natasha Paremski returns for Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2, filled with lyrical beauty, bold drama, and rhythms inspired by his Polish heritage. Jennifer Higdon’s poignant blue cathedral rounds out the program.

After the performance, we’ll head home for an early return—a lovely way to spend the morning enjoying extraordinary live music!
