Journey into the rolling grasslands of Southern Arizona, where wide-open skies and mountain views set the stage for a beautifully paced day along the Sonoita/Elgin Wine Trail.
Designated as Arizona’s first American Viticultural Area, this region offers a refreshing change of scenery and a growing collection of boutique wineries.
We’ll begin at AZ Hops and Vines, known for its lively atmosphere and award-winning wines. Enjoy a tasting flight along with a casual lunch included at the winery.
Next, we’ll visit Deep Sky Vineyard, a stunning estate known for sweeping vineyard views and thoughtfully crafted wines. Relax and enjoy your tasting while taking in the peaceful surroundings, with time to explore as much of the area as time allows.

The Scottsdale pickup location can be easily reached via AZ 101/Pima Freeway. Exit the freeway at Shea. The La Quinta Hotel is located at the northeast corner of AZ 101 and Shea Blvd.

This is the Fiesta Mall region, and the Hilton Hotel is easily viewed from the U.S. 60/Superstition Freeway. Exit the freeway at Alma School and head east to Holmes. Park and wait for the bus at the west end of the hotel parking lot.
