Tubac Festival of the Arts
February 8, 2026
$115
Nestled at the base of the Santa Rita Mountains along the Santa Cruz River, Tubac has enjoyed a rich tradition of arts and festivals dating back to 1959. The Tubac Fine Arts Festival, held each February, celebrates its 66-year legacy as the longest-running art festival in Southern Arizona, drawing more than 200 artists and thousands of visitors from around the world.
Artist tents line the streets and beautifully complement the village’s year-round collection of more than 100 shops, fine art galleries, and working artist studios. While the festival is juried for quality, it remains welcoming and unpretentious—serious paintings share space with whimsical sculptures, handcrafted jewelry, and the sounds of live New Age and acoustic music drifting through the village.
We’ll enjoy lunch on self, with plenty of options to choose from. Tubac offers several inviting restaurants, along with an international food court filled with fun vendor booths—perfect for grazing, relaxing, and people-watching at your own pace.
This is a Kindred Tours annual trek that always fills quickly, beloved for its relaxed atmosphere, creative energy, and beautiful winter setting. If you enjoy art, community, and a day that feels both lively and leisurely, this one is not to be missed.
