Day One: Arrive to Calgary Welcome to Calgary, Alberta’s vibrant gateway to the Canadian Rockies. Meet your Tour Director and depart for Banff National Park and the charming alpine town of Banff where we’ll settle in for a five-night stay. Nestled in the beautiful Bow Valley, Banff is surrounded by towering peaks and spectacular scenery. Its lively streets are filled with inviting shops, restaurants, and endless opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. This evening we gather for a Welcome Dinner with our fellow travelers at a local Banff restaurant. (D) Overnight: Banff
Day Two: Banff – Yoho National Park – Lake Louise Today’s scenic tour introduces the stunning landscapes that make the Canadian Rockies world famous. Watch for wildlife such as moose, deer, bighorn sheep, and possibly even bears as we travel through this dramatic mountain region. Our journey takes us through Kicking Horse Pass into Yoho National Park where we visit the Natural Bridge, Spiral Tunnels, and beautiful Emerald Lake, known for its deep green waters surrounded by soaring peaks. We continue to the iconic Chateau Lake Louise where we’ll enjoy lunch and time to explore the spectacular surroundings of this UNESCO World Heritage Site overlooking Lake Louise and the Victoria Glacier. Day Three: Banff Area Sightseeing Today enjoy a guided tour of the Banff area including Mt. Rundle, Bow Falls, Tunnel Mountain, and the Hoodoos, sometimes referred to as the “Land of Sleeping Giants.” The highlight of the day is a ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain via the Banff Gondola, where breathtaking panoramic views of six mountain ranges and the sweeping Bow Valley await. Later enjoy free time to explore Banff at your leisure—browse the shops, relax at a café, or visit the historic Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. (B) Overnight: Banff
Day Four: Icefields Parkway- Columbia Icefield Adventure After breakfast we travel along the legendary Icefields Parkway, considered one of the most scenic drives in the world. This spectacular route winds through Banff and Jasper National Parks and showcases glaciers, waterfalls, towering peaks, and endless alpine scenery. We stop at Bow Pass to admire the brilliant turquoise waters of Peyto Lake before continuing north toward the Columbia Icefield. Here we board a specially designed Ice Explorer vehicle for a thrilling ride across the surface of the massive Athabasca Glacier, nearly 1,000 feet thick. Watch for wildlife including bears, moose, elk, bighorn sheep, and mountain goats along the way before returning to Banff for a relaxing evening. (B) Overnight: Banff
Day Five: Banff – Day at Leisure Today is yours to enjoy Banff National Park at your own pace. You may wish to explore the charming village of Banff, browse the many boutiques and galleries, or simply relax and take in the mountain scenery. Optional activities might include a nature walk, canoeing along the Bow River, horseback riding, or a round of golf at the legendary Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course. This evening we gather for a memorable Farewell Dinner with our fellow travelers. (B,D) Overnight: Banff
Day Six: Banff – Calgary – Home After breakfast we transfer to Calgary for our flight home, bringing with us unforgettable memories of the breathtaking landscapes and majestic beauty of the Canadian Rockies.
