Day One: Arrive to Boston

Welcome to Boston, one of America’s most historic cities. Upon arrival, meet your Tour Director and transfer to your hotel for a two-night stay in the Boston area. Enjoy the evening at leisure to explore this vibrant city known for its exceptional restaurants and rich colonial history. Overnight: Boston Area

Day Two: Boston Sightseeing

Today enjoy a guided Boston City Tour featuring Boston Common, the Old State House, the Old North Church where Paul Revere’s famous signal lanterns were displayed, the Old South Meeting House, Beacon Hill, and the historic USS Constitution, known as “Old Ironsides.” Visit Faneuil Hall Marketplace, located along Boston’s waterfront and surrounded by the shops and food stalls of Quincy Market. Later visit the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum, dedicated to the life and legacy of the 35th President of the United States. This evening enjoy a Welcome Dinner with your fellow travelers. (B,D) Overnight: Boston Area

Day Three: Boston – Woodstock – Burlington

After breakfast travel to the charming New England town of Woodstock, Vermont, often called “America’s Prettiest Town,” known for its classic colonial architecture and scenic countryside. Visit the Billings Farm & Museum, a working dairy farm and museum highlighting Vermont rural life in the late 1800s. Continue through picturesque villages and mountain scenery before arriving in Burlington, located along the shores of Lake Champlain. (B) Overnight: Burlington, VT

Day Four: Vermont Sightseeing

Today explore the scenic Lake Champlain region. Visit the Shelburne Museum, one of the nation’s most unique collections of American folk art and historic buildings. Later stop at Cold Hollow Cider Mill, one of the largest apple cider producers in New England, known for its fresh-pressed cider and local treats. Continue to the Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory where you’ll enjoy a brief tour and sample one of their famous flavors. Return to Burlington for an evening at leisure. (B) Overnight: Burlington, VT

Day Five: Maple Sugar Farm – Granite State Scenic Railroad – White Mountains

This morning visit a traditional Vermont Maple Sugar Farm where you’ll learn about the maple sugaring process and sample authentic maple treats. Later board the Granite State Scenic Railroad for a picturesque rail journey along the banks of the Pemigewasset River through forested mountain scenery on tracks dating back to the late 1800s. Continue into New Hampshire’s stunning White Mountains where you’ll settle in for a two-night stay. Dinner is included this evening. (B,D) Overnight: White Mountains, NH

Day Six: Mount Washington Cog Railway – North Conway – Kancamagus Highway

Today board the historic Mount Washington Cog Railway, the world’s first mountain-climbing cog railway, dating back to 1869. The three-hour journey climbs to the summit of Mount Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast, offering breathtaking panoramic views. Later visit the charming town of North Conway for shopping and leisure time before traveling along the famous Kancamagus Highway, one of New England’s most scenic drives known for its mountain vistas, rushing rivers, and covered bridges. Enjoy the evening at leisure. (B) Overnight: White Mountains, NH

Day Seven: White Mountains – Portland, Maine

Today travel from the mountains to the coast as we journey to Portland, Maine, the state’s largest city, beautifully situated along Casco Bay. Visit the elegant Victoria Mansion (Morse-Libby House), considered one of the finest examples of Victorian architecture in the United States. Later check into your hotel for a two-night stay. Day Eight: Portland & Casco Bay Cruise

Today enjoy a scenic Casco Bay Cruise past charming island communities and historic coastal homes along Little and Great Diamond Islands. Later enjoy free time for lunch and shopping in Old Port, Portland’s historic waterfront district filled with cobblestone streets, boutiques, and seafood restaurants. Visit the iconic Portland Head Lighthouse & Museum in nearby Cape Elizabeth, one of the most photographed lighthouses in America. This evening celebrate your journey with a classic New England Lobster Farewell Dinner.(B,D) Overnight: Portland

Day Nine: Portland – Boston – Flight Home

Today return to Boston for your flight home, taking with you wonderful memories of New England’s scenic landscapes, historic towns, and coastal beauty. (B)
