Sunset Crater Volcano & Wupatki National Monuments (West Valley Pickups)

Join us for a scenic and fascinating day exploring two of Northern Arizona’s most remarkable landscapes.

Our adventure begins at Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, where a powerful volcanic eruption nearly 1,000 years ago transformed the landscape with towering cinder cones, rugged lava flows, and fields of volcanic rock. Today, these dramatic features are surrounded by beautiful ponderosa pines, wildflowers, and abundant wildlife, creating one of Arizona’s most unique natural settings. Enjoy an easy one-mile walk or simply relax as we serve light refreshments in this spectacular location.

Next, we’ll travel the scenic road to Wupatki National Monument, home to one of the Southwest’s most impressive ancestral pueblos. Built around AD 1100, the 100-room Wupatki Pueblo once served as a thriving center of trade and community. Wander among the ancient stone walls while taking in sweeping views of the Painted Desert and surrounding volcanic landscape.

We’ll also enjoy time in historic Downtown Flagstaff, where lunch is on self. With a variety of local cafés, breweries, and restaurants, you’ll have plenty of delicious options before continuing our journey.

From volcanic wonders to ancient civilizations, this is a day filled with incredible scenery, fascinating history, and some of Northern Arizona’s most unforgettable landscapes.
